Good reminder!

I had an epiphany! You already know this, and I did too, but just forgot. I wanted to share this with you in person, but I would have forgotten to say it right, probably. And this is sort of therapeutic, because I am allowed to get out what I want to say without interruptions, and if I say something that I shouldn't I can edit it first, instead blurting out something that I might regret.

Anyways, what I wanted to share with you is just something that God reminded me of recently. Since you all live with me, you seen that if I am not feeling well, or have a headache, or stressed about work, or something all I think about is myself. I get caught up on my own wants and selfish desires sometimes, that are mostly out of my control, or motivated by fear, or greed etc.. , and I forget about what is under my control. Which is, what I think, do, and say.

But instead I complain about how I don't like this, or I prefer that, etc... I was complaining to God about this yesterday. And I paused to listen. What I heard was, "Allow me to take care of you." Basically what He was saying is, when I complain, I limit how much blessings I can receive from Him, and that He can do better with my life, then what I can do with it. (As witnessed by my past.)

He has blessed me with everything I have, and when I resist, and try to do things my way, I am missing out on further blessings from God. The reason why is because my way is selfish, and prideful. My way is usually limited to my understanding of things, which is not much. But God is not limited, He knows everything, and He knows what is best for me, even if I can't see that initially. If I truly remembered that in my life, I would allow him to help me more, and be grateful for what He has done for me so far, and show my love for Him by how I reacted to his blessings. My way would be the same as God's way, because I would desire to accept His will no matter what happened, and appreciate Him and others more.

Understanding and applying the Atonement brings compassion and peace, and acceptance of whatever God's will is for me.

I'm Loving Life!

I am going beyond good intentions to do about writing a blog, and I am doing it!
